Jin-woog Koo and Jae han Song from NOTHING Design Group took creativity to a whole new level and created one of the most unique wash basins we could possibly imagine. Drawing inspiration from the water stream that flows into the sea, The Origin is an allegorical design that uses a stone as its tap. All you have to do is “plug” the cobblestone in the water source and the tap is closed. A prime example of fashionable, modern aesthetics, it’s the easiest way of having your own river flowing through your home. Sidestepping queries about just how snug-fitting those stones will have to be, it’s a relaxing change from the roaring torrent of most sink designs.
The Origin, Washstand by Jin-woog and Jae-han Song, "a wash basin based on the source of a river and the way it flows into a lake. A small cobblestone blocks the source, which starts to spout water meandering down to the basin when the tone is removed. Then, the cobble can double as a plug for the sink."
IT is a washbasin inspired by the "flowing water of a stream" with a unique tap, a stone that releases or blocks the water flow.
